In an unrelated case, 24-year-old Michael Vargas faces one felony and two misdemeanor charges. According to police, he allegedly damaged his grandfather’s property and threatened to burn down the home after learning that a shed on the property had been removed.

These charges are allegations, not established findings of guilt. Both men are presumed innocent unless proven guilty in court, and the legal proceedings are ongoing.

A Las Vegas City Schools football coach was also reportedly arrested on battery charges following an alleged physical altercation with another man.
